Can you upload a session that I can test with this bug?

It was a bug, I uploaded a new build with this issue fixed. Help/redownload to get it.

No, it should work like that. Try raising the volume in settings/system

I'm not sure what could be wrong then, if ARM can play the other sounds this should work too, unless you haven't patched the data.pak (in which case most of the ARM features won't work either)

Check that you have this file

C:\ProgramData\Aion Rainmeter\Data\Misc\timer_succeeded_fix.ogg

Then I can't see why the recruit one wouldn't work, are you running the last update of ARM?

Do sounds work when you take a screenshot with ARM (camera icon) or with the triggers?

It works when you make a recruit for cross server and someone applies, because the game doesn't play any sound for that.
