ARM not saving visual styles for me

Hi folks,

As the topic states, after doing a fresh install of windows 8.1, my ARM is not saving visual styles or screen position. Both of these values are reset to default every time I open the program, while all other settings seem to be saved. I have taken ownership of the drive it is installed on, and running the program with admin rights, tried compatibility mode, and nothing seems to work.

Any ideas what else might be causing this kind of problem? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
