Error Checking for new version

I've been using ARM for a while now and after the game went down for maintenance tonight my ARM was giving me the "error checking for new version (1), check that your firewall isn't blocking ARM" and if not clicked within 10 sec's it changed to a 0 from a 1, i'm using windows 7 64 bit and kyspersky for my antivirus and firewall but i've tried disabling my fire wall completely adding rainmeter to the exclusions list re-downling the standard version around 5 times and full un-installing it, along with the debugged 1.900 i saw on the forums here as well but all give me the same error message anyone have any idea what i can do to fix this
